Lutherville, Md. – Two Youth on Course Maryland members are among the 19 students nationwide selected as recipients of Youth on Course’s 2026 College Scholarships.

Jeremiah Park of Silver Spring, Md., and Skyler Xue of Bethesda, Md., both Montgomery Blair High School graduates, each received a $15,000 Youth on Course scholarship and are preparing to continue their education at two of the nation’s leading universities.

Park, the recipient of the 2026 Morton Family Foundation YOC Scholarship, will attend Dartmouth College to study neuroscience. He earned first place in the Future Business Leaders of America state competition, won the 2025 First Tee Golf Pro-Junior Championship, and served as a varsity golf captain. Park was also a two-time Maryland All-State and All-County orchestra participant and served as Vice President of the We United Charity Foundation, where he organized and distributed aid for children facing health, social, and economic challenges.

“Golf entered my life only a few years ago, but it left a strong impact on my life far beyond the golf course,” Park said. “Through programs like First Tee and Youth on Course, golf became affordable and accessible to me and opened many doors I never would have expected.”

Xue, the recipient of the 2026 Murray Bodine YOC Scholarship, will attend Yale University to study sports analytics. Xue earned a 2025 USA Mathematical Talent Search Silver award, was a four-time AIME qualifier, and earned multiple distinctions in the American Mathematics Competitions. He also co-founded the Magnificent Math club, which reached more than 500 students nationwide, and served as a co-captain of the Montgomery Blair varsity golf team and a junior coach with the First Tee of Greater Washington, D.C.

“Golf has been a cornerstone of my growth, teaching me discipline, resilience, and perseverance,” Xue said. “With Youth on Course, I’ve been able to keep pursuing the sport I love without financial barriers and mentor younger players from diverse backgrounds.”

The 2026 Youth on Course scholarship class was selected from 558 applicants nationwide, with $365,000 awarded to 19 students across 11 states.
