Club Authorization is a requirement for all clubs in the United States wishing to utilize the World Handicap System™ (WHS). Golf clubs are required to attend a WHS virtual seminar which focuses on the principles outlined in the Rules of Handicapping and pass a quiz exhibiting knowledge about the Rules.
A member club of the Authorized Golf Association in its geographic region which uses its Authorized Golf Association’s technology provider for handicap services must sign an agreement with the Authorized Golf Association. Once a club becomes authorized, it will be listed on the USGA® Authorized Club List and will be able to provide their members with a Handicap Index®.

“The staff had a great time getting the course and facility ready for the event, and we’ve heard nothing but great things about the club and course conditions. I also wanted to thank/congratulate you and your committee on setting up and arranging a great tournament at our facility. We look forward to working with you guys again in the near future, and thanks again for allowing us to host such a great event!”
