Makayla Grubb of Stafford, Va., earned medalist honors and the first qualifying spot after carding a three-under-par 67. However, after consecutive bogeys on the 7th and 8th, Grubb finished the front nine at one-over-par. She remained composed entering the back nine and bounced back by carding birdies on the 11th, 13th, 16th, and 18th. After her strong back nine, Grubb finished her round at three-under-par and claimed medalist honors.

Lindsay McGrath of Canada claimed the second qualifying spot with a one-under-par 69. McGrath birdied the opening hole before bogeys on the 5th and 8th. She responded with a birdie on the 9th, making the turn at even-par. On the back nine, McGrath remained steady, adding a birdie on the 15th to finish with her one-under-par score, securing the second qualifying spot.

Katie Li of Basking Ridge, N.J., and Helen Yeung of Clarksville, Md., tied for third at even-par 70 and advanced to a playoff to decide first and second alternate positions.

The playoff began on the par-4 1st hole, where Li made par while Yeung recorded a bogey. Li earned first alternate honors, with Yeung taking the second alternate position.
