Leaderboard | Round Two Tee Times
Rockville, MD – It was a beautiful day at Woodmont Country Club, where four players finished at even par or better after Round 1 at the 25th Maryland Women’s Open Presented by Toyota. Becca DiNunzio (a) from Virginia Beach, VA, led the pack after posting a strong round of two under par. Her first birdie came on the opening par-4; she then finished her front nine with eight straight pars. She made a bogey on 13 but bounced back and made back-to-back birdies on Nos. 15-16. Reflecting on her round, she mentioned that staying out of the rough was the key to success. Even when she found herself in the rough, she was able to save par. You can watch the full interview here. Melaine Green, Marley Franklin (a), and Rachel Kuehn (a) all sit at T2 with a score of 72 (E). Kendall Jackson (a) rounds out the top five with an opening round of 73 (+1).
