2019 Maryland Open Champion Davis Lamb

Lutherville, Md. – Maryland native Davis Lamb has earned his first PGA Tour card for the 2027 season, securing the final spot in the top 20 of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with a clutch finish at the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region.

Lamb finished eighth at the championship to climb into the top 20, becoming one of 20 players to earn PGA Tour membership for the upcoming season. He was one of two players to begin the week outside the top 20 and finish inside the qualifying positions.

With the PGA Tour card on the line, Lamb came up clutch in the final round of the championship. He delivered consecutive birdies on the 16th and 17th before getting up and down from 41 yards on the 18th hole to save par and secure the final qualifying spot.

The breakthrough marks another milestone in Lamb’s golf career. The Potomac, Md., native won the 2019 Maryland Open as an amateur before finishing third on the PGA Tour Canada Order of Merit in 2023. He went on to compete on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024, finishing 120th on the points list in his rookie season. Lamb regained membership by finishing third on the 2025 PGA Tour Americas Points List, highlighted by a victory at the Inter Rapidísimo Golf Championship in Colombia, earning another opportunity on the Korn Ferry Tour for 2026.

Lamb made the most of his second stint on the Korn Ferry Tour, including a win at the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, before ultimately earning his first PGA Tour card with his finish at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

Lamb will make his PGA Tour debut as a full member during the 2027 season, which begins Jan. 21-24 at The American Express.
