Pikesville, Md. – The 27th Maryland Women’s Open presented by Toyota is gearing up to take place October 6-7 at The Suburban Club in Pikesville, Md. The field features 22 amateurs and 20 professionals who will compete over 36 holes of stroke play for the championship title.

Two former champions, Aneka Seumanutafa of Towson University (2023, 2016) and Ashley Grier of Legacy Golf and Tennis Club (2014, 2006), return to the field looking to add another Maryland Women’s Open title to their resumes. Seumanutafa looks to build on her historic 2023 performance, where she claimed victory by 10 strokes. Grier is seeking her third Maryland Women’s Open title after finishing as runner-up three times since her most recent victory in 2014.

Sarah Spicer-Baldwin of Argyle Country Club is also in the field, fresh off her victory in the 19th Maryland Women’s Mid-Amateur. She’ll be joined by Sally Ratcliffe of The Elkridge Club, who is looking to carry the momentum from her win in the 58th Maryland Women’s Senior Amateur to next week’s competition at The Suburban Club. 2025 Maryland Senior Women’s Open Champion Joy Bonhurst of Blue Mash Golf Course is returning to the field as well to defend her title.

Round one begins Tuesday, October 6, with 18 holes of stroke play and will close with the final loop of 18 holes on Wednesday, October 7.
