Lutherville, Md. – The 26th Maryland Women’s Open presented by Toyota is set to tee off on Monday, October 6, at The Suburban Club in Pikesville, Md. This is the first year that The Suburban Club will be the host of the Maryland Women’s Open. This year’s tournament will feature 44 golfers from 11 different states as well as the District of Columbia. The players will compete across four divisions: Open, Low Amateur, Senior, and Low Senior Amateur.
Delaney Shah from North Potomac, Md., returns to the field as a name to watch. Shah finished as the runner-up two years ago at Worthington Manor Golf Club in the 24th Maryland Women’s Open. Kendall Jackson from Pearland, Texas, returns as the only top-ten finisher from last year’s tournament, now a professional instead of an amateur. Both Shah and Jackson compete on the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT), which is a developmental tour for the LPGA.
Ami Gianchandani from Watchung, N.J., Micaa Thomas from Haines City, Fla., and Molly Holbert from Mechanicsburg, Pa., are a few names also from the ANNIKA WAPT that will be featured in this year’s Maryland Women’s Open.

Anna Foster poses with the Maryland Women’s Open trophy after winning the 2024 edition of the tournament at Woodmont Country Club.
At the 25th Maryland Women’s Open, held at the North Course of Woodmont Country Club, Anna Foster from Dublin, Ireland, achieved her first professional victory. Foster made crucial birdies on the final holes to secure her win. Rachel Kuehn earned low amateur honors and finished third overall, while Brenda Kuehn won the senior division. The event was highlighted by strong performances from both rising and established players, and the 2025 edition of the tournament promises to deliver the same.
