The Inaugural Dolan Cup will take place at Lakewood Country Club on November 2nd, 2024. These matches will pit two 8-player teams from the Maryland State Golf Association and the Maryland contingent of the Middle Atlantic PGA. The event is named after Columbia Country Club’s Pro-Emeritus, Robert F. Dolan Jr., PGA, who has been a fixture in Maryland golf for over 30 years.
The MSGA team includes five male Mid-Amateurs, two Senior Amateurs, and one Female Amateur. The morning format will be Four-Ball matches, and the afternoon format will be Singles matches. Each match is worth one point, and ties are worth half a point. Three-time MSGA Player of the Year Billy Peel will serve as the first captain for Team MSGA.
