The 46th Girls Junior Amateur Championship was held at Baltimore Country Club – Five Farms West Course, on Monday and Tuesday, June 26 & 27. 34 girls competed in the championship division, and two girls competed in the 9-hole division.
The championship played 36 holes of stroke play over Monday & Tuesday, while the 9-hole division played the front nine on Monday, and the back 9 on Tuesday. Monday’s weather was hot and humid but presented no obstacles. On Tuesday, a thunderstorm caught up to the field just after 12 pm, putting the field in a suspension of play. A series of suspensions took place over three hours, but the girls were all able to complete their rounds by the end of the day.
