Congratulations to Peter Knade on Monday Qualifying for the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Fla., at Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead Course). Knade, an Annapolis, MD native and Talbot CC member, is set to make his first career start on the PGA Tour. Along with three other players, Knade shot six under par to qualify for this week’s event. He is set to tee off on Thursday, March 16, at 9:30 a.m. EDT. Earlier this year, on the Korn Ferry Tour, he finished T2 at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay. He currently sits 10th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, and if he stays within the Top-30, he will earn his PGA Tour card. Knade fished T-2 at the 2019 Maryland State Open held at Worthington Manor. To learn more, click here.
