The 120th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship will take place from July 31-August 9, 2020 at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. This will be Woodmont’s first time hosting a USGA Championship, although the club has hosted over 30 U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying events in the last 31 years.
The U.S. Women’s Amateur will require many volunteer hours, and assistance is needed in a wide variety of areas such as player registration, scoreboard, and course spotters. Woodmont CC members Jill Benson and Jill Weinstein, Captains of Volunteer Recruitment, have been tasked with finding between 300-500 volunteers for this prestigious championship.
If you are interested in volunteering, please click here to sign-up. Please follow the prompts and fill out your information in its entirety. We hope you will consider this incredible opportunity to volunteer at a national championship held at one of our region’s top courses. Thanks for your consideration and if you have any additional questions, please feel free to email Jill Benson or Jill Weinstein at 2020womensam@woodmontcc.com.
